In today's digital era, both teachers and students interact with technology and the internet daily, making it essential to prioritize safety and security. Establishing guidelines and best practices that ensures a secure online environment conducive to learning and collaboration. Here are some safety tips for teachers and students when utilizing technology and the internet: 

For Teachers:

1. Secure Passwords: Use strong, unique passwords for all accounts and consider implementing two-factor authentication for added security;

2. Educate Students: Foster digital literacy by teaching students about online safety, responsible internet use, and recognizing potential risks or threats; and

3. Content Filtering: Implement content filtering tools to restrict access to inappropriate websites and content, ensuring a safe learning environment. 

For Students:

1. Personal Information:  Avoid sharing personal information, such as full names, addresses, or phone numbers, on public forums, social media, or unknown websites;

2. Safe Browsing: Encourage students to use secure and reputable websites for research and assignments, avoiding suspicious links or pop-ups; and

3. Privacy Settings: Instruct students to review and adjust privacy settings on devices and social media platforms to control personal information visibility and limit exposure to potential risks. 

By adhering to these safety tips, teachers and students can navigate the digital landscape responsibly, fostering a secure and positive online learning environment for all.
